What does Megaplier mean?

In the majority of states, there is a Megaplier feature that allows players to multiply non-jackpot prize winnings by 2, 3, 4, or 5. You can play the Megaplier for an extra $1 in a participating state.

If you purchased the Megaplier feature, any non-jackpot prize you win on a Mega Millions play will be multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn.
