Maine's Emergency Winter Energy Relief Plan provides a one-time payment of up to $450 for eligible residents.
Checks will be mailed no later than March 31 via the US Postal Service.
To be eligible, individuals must have filed their 2021 Maine income tax return as a full-year resident by October 31, 2022 and reported an adjusted federal income of at least:
$200,000 for married joint returns or surviving spouses filing joint returns;
$150,000 for heads of household; and
- $100,000 for single individuals or married individuals filing separate returns.
